Scientific Glass Laboratories Borosilicate Glass Trap - Connecting to other materials / pipework

The easiest and most economical way of connecting to other materials is by utilising the standard BSP thread. As most AHU manufacturers have identified that their units are fitted with a glass trap - 95% of manufacturers now fit BSP male threads as standard to their AHU's. SGL have made this its preferred method of connection: A simple 'O' ring - "BSP threaded adapter" made of the same inert material as the coupling is inserted into a standard glass/glass coupling - achieving the desired effect. A range of PTFE Screwed Pipe Adaptors are also available allowing connection to copper or plastic pipework via BSP thread.
